Colin Peters began playing rugby at San Juan Government Secondary School in 1974. He joined the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS) in 1979 and started playing rugby for the Police Rugby Section.

He has a wealth of knowledge and experience as he has been a member of the TTRFU’s Executive Committee since 1997, when he was elected as Assistant Secretary/Treasurer. He went on to hold the positions of Honorary Secretary, Vice President and President of the Union.

Colin has certificates in Public and Sports Administration from the University of the West Indies (UWI) and the Trinidad and Tobago Olympic Committee (TTOC) respectively and has always been committed to championing the sport and taking it to the next level.
