The Trinidad & Tobago Rugby Football Union’s (TTRFU) Semi Finals of the Knock Out Competition in the Women’s, Men’s Championship and Men’s Senior Divisions, is scheduled to take place this weekend (August 25 & 26, 2018) at the Queen’s Park Savannah in Port-of-Spain.

These matches are being held at the Queen’s Park Savannah, as the Hasely Crawford Stadium was closed for assessment of structural damage arising out of Tuesday’s earthquake.

The Semi Finals will kick off on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. with both Women Division matches, Harvard vs Caribs (Savannah 1) and Royalians vs Police (Savannah 3). Later that day, in the Men’s Championship Division matches, Royalians will go up against Trinidad Northern (Savannah 3), while Harvard take on Caribs (Savannah 1) at 4:00 p.m.

On Sunday, August 26, 2018, the first Men’s Senior Division match is expected to take place between Harvard 2 and Rainbow on Savannah 1 at 4:00 p.m. The second semi final involving Caribs 2 and Defence Force was rescheduled to September 8, 2018.

These matches are expected to be very close and fierce as Knock Out competitions tend to bring out the best in all teams.

Though not in the Rugby Sevens sphere, this competition is expected to keep the athletes active and focused on their ultimate objective, representing the National Teams at the 2018 Rugby Americas North (RAN) Seven-A-Side Tournament in Barbados on September 22 & 23, 2018.

As usual we urge members of the media, the rugby fraternity and the public to come out in their numbers and support.
